Welcome to Firmin.coach (the "Service"), an AI-powered adaptive training application for cyclists. By accessing or using our Service, you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Nature of the Service

Firmin.coach uses artificial intelligence (AI) models (specifically Google Vertex AI/Gemini) to generate cycling training plans and provide workout feedback based on your physiological data (FTP, Heart Rate, Laps, etc.).

Medical Disclaimer

The Service is NOT a medical device, nor does it provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The training plans and feedback are generated automatically by AI algorithms and are for informational and recreational purposes only.

Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise program. You assume all risk of injury associated with the use of this Service. If you experience pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath, stop exercising immediately and seek medical attention.

2. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (Google Login).
  • You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information (e.g., FTP, weight) to ensure the AI generates appropriate training loads.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding your personal workout data), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Firmin.coach and its licensors.

4. Data Usage & AI Limitations

While we strive for high accuracy, AI models can produce unexpected or suboptimal results ("hallucinations").

  • You acknowledge that the generated plans may require common-sense adjustment based on your daily condition (fatigue, illness, injury).
  • We calculate metrics like Training Stress Score (TSS) and compliance scores based on available data from third-party integrations (Garmin). Data gaps or sync delays may affect these calculations.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Firmin.coach, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

7. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of France (or your relevant jurisdiction), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
